U T A H & I D A H O

hey pal.

So you know when you go on vacation and it is just so fantastic that you cannot stop thinking about it and you feel like you are living in the past because you keep talking about it?

Yup. That's what I feel like.

Utah & Idaho trip this year was R  A   D    I     C      A       L.

Britten & Jennifer

I believe this was the first day me and Britten were together this summer. It was taken at around midnight in the Provo roundabout. Yes, let me explain. This year me and Britten did our 3rd annual peeing in the roundabout. We do that. Gross you say? Well, it is a tradition that we plan on continuing. Those are all the details I am giving you on our fabulous rituals.

While in Utah there were several thunderstorms & gosh do I love those. In California we rarely get exotic weather so when I see rain and lightning hear roaring thunder I just get so excited. This picture was taken after me and Britten basically watched lightning strike. You know when the lightning strikes at the exact same time you hear the thunder and you know its so close? Yeah that happened and we loved it.

Love those stormy clouds.

^^ this is my favorite thing about Utah. Sunrises & Sunsets. Every single one is gorgeous. This sunrise in particular has a story. Me & Britten were at our grandmas house in Orem but we reaaaaally wanted to go back to her house & hang out with friends and start our adventures. So, us being the rebels we are, we left at 4:30 am to go back to her house. I mean really, doesn't get much more rebellious than that.

Upon arriving in Morgan, Utah Britten and I had so much adrenaline from our escape we decided to climb a mountain. Literally. It started as a simple trail run up Snowbasin but when our trail ended it quickly turned into man vs. wild. We climbed up an entire ravine to the top of Snowbasin and nearly died doing it.

Snowbasin. At least it was beautiful.

We act like sisters and I adore it. All I have ever wanted was a sissy to call my own & with her I finally have one.

These photos are taken at the duck pond in Layton where we fed ducks & began our adventure of that night. Shortly after this we had a pow wow in the back of a Volvo in a target parking lot. Memorable night.

Bridge jumping into the Weber river. Grand fun.

This begins our time in Idaho. These photos were taken by a cave on the way to Salmon, Idaho. We saw it from the road and couldn't hold back our desire to off road to it. So, being the free spirits we pride ourselves on being, we did it. With a fridge in the trunk, mind you. Yes it was quite the adventure but look at these pictures! Definitely worth it. We felt infinite.

And now onto the actual river trip.
Best 5 days.
Me & Britten loved every moment of this trip and tried to adventure as much as possible.
I think it's safe to say we succeeded.

I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

^ Best Friends. ^

This is my pal Zack. He was a guide who I joined in intellectual conversations as well as unintellectual conversations. We also made anklets togeths. Besties.

This is Maleigha. She is basically the cutest girl on the planet! She was such a little adventurer and made the trip so fun with her quirky comments and cute lil nose. Love her.

So me and britten found a creek at the last camp we stayed at and hiked up it which was soooo cool! We climbed up tons of mini waterfalls and had a blast. New scars from new adventures.

Until next year...I LOVE YOU SALMON.

The day after we got back from Salmon we headed straight to the lake for some quality boating. I tried wake surfing for the first time which was so dang fun.

After all the fun I had to get down to business with 3 full days of college tours. This picture was taken in the BYU Art Gallery where I could finally unwind after a full day of information about class sizes and bathroom set ups.

I still don't know where I wanna go.

Me & my momma at The Bluebird Café in Logan where we visited Utah State.

A night with my grandparents who are the cutest ever & Iceberg shakes.

Utah & Idaho did not disappoint this year.
I spent a large portion of my time on the road but I wouldn't change a thing.
I met new people, did new things, and made new memories.
