Summer of Adventure.

You know what I want ? To go on an adventure. A cool one. With someone outdoorsy and brave and funny and cute. So in other words, a boy. I want to discover new joys in simple things with the boy I love. But while I'm waiting..here are a few of my adventures I have used to fill in the time until my dream boy comes running.

ONE:
I went surfing & saved 6 starfish. Let me tell you a story.

Me & my dad were just minding our business when we spotted a man digging starfish out of the rocks (as seen in the picture^) and shoving them in his sand bucket. I did not think anything of it until I realized that he was taking those back to where he was seated on the beach to dry them out. Which would kill them. {DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUN} so my dad, being the brave man he is) went and told him he should kindly return the starfish so they would not die. & what did he do? said the big N.O. so my dad told the lifeguards. This is where it gets interesting. The lifeguards decided to talk to the man & see if he would obey their word. But as you can probably guess, this man was just a leeeeetle stubborn and felt no need to listen to them without a fight. So his rebellion went like this. He walked over to my dads chair chucked all the starfish at him and yelled "tattle tale!" or something of that immature state. Yes. He {threw} starfish at my dad. And mind you, he was a grown man. Sheesh some people are embarrassing. So me & my mom grabbed the starfish and made a lifesaving sprint to the rocks. Good day at the beach. haha. But that's not all! This man was still not recovering well from his trauma so the lifeguards escorted us to our car to leave. Quite the experience. But you know, I felt like a hero. A starfish saving, wave riding, scaredy cat hero. So that trip to the beach was good enough for me.

Alrighty, next adventure.

TWO:
Underwater Photography. Became a new hobby this summer.

Me & Mari were bored one fine evening & discovered that underwater pictures in front of her pool light turned out mysterious, elegant & exciting. So we did it. A lot. And i love it. Look at my abs. Just had to say it.
Jennifer is my name & I love the water.
 $U^^m3R. It feels mighty fine.
This is my friend Mari. We do basically everything together. & she is currently in Utah. It breaks my heart. In pieces. Cause I am alone, and lonely, and solitary and sad.
But at least I have a blog to talk to. Duck face & peace sign to you.

Three:
Took a trip to the sunny & splendid Palm Springs.

This is my entire dad's side of the family. We are a funny group if I do say so myself. haha. Just makes me laugh thinking about all these beloved souls. In the photo above we are posing in front of the impressive horses outside of P.F. Changs. That meal was delicious! Yet puuuuny & overpriced. Oh well! Dinner was on grandma! Joyous day. Well let me list for you all these great people. Left to right & then the two at the bottom. Bear with me. {Jeff Reed, Heather Reed, Melody Bandley, Haley Porter, Reed Averill, Laurel Averill, Brandon Bandley, Christian Bandley, Brent Bandley, Glenn Bandley, Me!, Linda Bandley, Rob..forgot his last name, Jake Reed, Parker Averill} So there you have it.
Me & Brandon at the Living Desert. Pun intended. It was both a zoo name & reality. 115 degrees at the zoo? No Thank You. But it was thrilling to watch this little giraffe eat palm fronds. So Cute.
This would be yours truly shopping at the rodeo drive of Palm Springs. For real. So expensive yet soooo classy. Someday I will be rich and famous and shop there often in my good lookin maserati. A girl can dream right?
